Joseph's Lungs

Well, Joseph was in the ER again yesterday. We found out this summer that he has asthma and he was put on an inhaled daily steroid. It is supposed to help keep inflammation of the passageways down.....I don't know if it's working. We were in just last month with breathing problems and the doctor said he had asthmatic bronchitis. This time I guess it was just another flare up. The ER doc said to speak with his pediatrician about trying a different inhaled steroid to see if it works better. I feel sorry for the poor boy. Each time he goes in he gets a shot of decadron(steroid) and has x-rays done. It scares him pretty bad. Yesterday while he was getting x-rays done I asked if he wanted a double cheeseburger and french fries from McDonalds. He calmed down and said "yeah". A cheeseburger always cheers him up!

Fun At The Pumpkin Patch

On Saturday we went to Garrity's pumpkin patch in Mission Hill. Some of our good friends went too. We went on a hayride to the patch, picked pumpkins, played on the hay bails and fed the goats. The kids had so much fun. I think this will be a yearly excursion.

Bianca is proud of her perfect pick.

Ava insisted she needed to find a pumpkin with NO dirt. I told her that was impossible and that we could just wash it off.

Cool pose Ava!

Getting Started

Well, this is how the Sam Bair family started. We were married on April 23 2004 in the Winter Quarters Nebraska temple. Sam and I have 3 children. Bianca is 7, Ava is 3 and Joseph is 21 months. You'll see more pictures of them than us. They are much cuter and have their pictures taken more often than Sam and me.
